Who are we
Lasater Capital currently targets acquisitions in the A, B & C class markets, which cover a wide range of properties—from newer, turnkey builds that attract higher-income renters, to older properties, often without professional property management, that may cater to lower-income renters and likely require renovations. While B- and C-class properties typically have the largest product demand with the lowest supply, we are also seeing a marked increase in A-class properties.
We believe this is due to several factors, in particular the growing U.S. populations who do not or cannot own their own homes—whether the result of financial issues or a desire for greater freedom that comes from renting as opposed to buying—creating a consistent market need for properties in these markets.
